17 Weeks

Hey Everyone,
I have been a huge slacker this week on updating my blog so I will have 2 posts this week. It has been an extremely hectic week, we rearranged our entire living room and are starting to get the kids room ready for the baby. We now have a chest of drawers set up thanks to my mom and full of both Sophia's and the baby's clothes, and we also have the recliner shampooed and ready. Now we just have to finish the crib and get it in there, set up and ready to go. I was 17 weeks as of last Sunday and have still been super tired and my body is making huge adjustments since I am so tiny. My back is feeling it very much so. The baby still loves kicking me and wouldn't hold still for the doctor at our last appointment for them to get a measurement. Well here is the survey for this last week and I will post another one in a few days.

16 Weeks

Hey Everyone,
I am 16 weeks now and am getting very anxious to be halfway through our pregnancy. Ironically enough the second tri so far has been more draining than the first, I almost always tired and have been a bit queasy. The baby is loving kicking me and loves to do flips. I also think that last night I felt it move on the outside. Well here is the survey for this week.

15 weeks

Hey Everyone,
I am 15 weeks now and am super happy and excited that we are almost halfway through our pregnancy. We are 75% sure we know what we are having but... we are waiting to tell everyone until we know for sure in November.  Our appointment today was great and we have a little squirmer... the baby love to kick and turn every which way. I will say I am thrilled at what they think we are having and cant wait to announce it!

Week 14

Hey Everyone,
I am 14 weeks now and finally the tiredness is starting to kick in. I am loving my naps! Our last appointment went great and I am super anxious to see our baby next week. We are getting so close to finding out what we are having and I am getting beyond excited.

Week 13

Hey Everyone,
I am now 13 weeks pregnant and loving it for the most part. I am so happy that no matter where you end the first tri we are there! Hopefully soon we will be able to see more of our little baby! I am getting super anxious to know it is a boy or girl. Well we had one appointment so far this week and will have another tomorrow, it will be super exciting to see the baby again. I can't get enough of it! Well here is the survey for this week.

12 Weeks

Hey Everyone,
Here I am now twelve weeks pregnant with our little baby Madsen. I am extremely excited to possibly be finding out the sex of the baby sometime soon. We are having fun with sanding down our baby's crib and getting it ready to do whatever we choose to with it.  I apologize for being late on my post this week things have been a little hectic this week.

Hi All,
Well I am now 11 weeks as of yesterday (give or take a few days). So now as promised I will do my weekly pregnancy survey and post bump pictures. Not too much is new in our life this week so I don't have much more to write about.

Our Exciting News

Hi All,
Sorry it has been so long again since I have written, I am going to try to start writing more and more especially now that we have some exciting news!

Well I am very excited to announce that we are going to have a baby! We are 10 weeks 1 day pregnant as of today! So far no (or very minimal) morning sickness (only twice in 10 weeks) and I am already starting to show, its not much but its also no longer bloat. I am so happy to finally be able to tell everyone.

We arent too caught up on whether it will be a boy or girl and will be thrilled about having either. Sophia is super thrilled that she will be a big sister and loves going with us to see HER baby, she still thinks to this day that the baby is in the kitchen though (since that is where we hang the ultrasounds).

The cravings I have had so far are for jalepeno jelly, hot fresh homemade rolls, cheesecake and candy.

Well I will now attach pictures of the bump as it is growing (note that some look bigger because of lovely bloat) and also ultrasound pictures.

I hope that everyone has been having a great summer and I will work on updating weekly :)

Hurry Up and Wait

Hi Everyone,
Sorry it has been so long since I have wrote on here, life has gotten super duper hectic for the past little while. I can't believe that I haven't posted since May! So a quick catch up is in order. In May the temperatures remained the same with no signs of summer in the near future, a few hot days here and there but nothing to get excited about, now we are in full swing of summer with lots of fires burning and lots of firework restrictions. My adorable step-daughter turned two and we had a ton of fun celebrating that, both with her mom's family and with mine, I will include pictures at the end of my blog. I got my first Mother's Day cards which was amazing to me and something that I will continue to look forward to each year, it was nice to have a me day as I got to lie around and relax and do whatever I wanted to do. We took missy swimming for the first time when my mom came into town and that was a blast once she got used to the water! She loves to splash!! Then we spent a couple of days exploring new parks and having a blast, it was so much fun! One of our favorite things to do is to go to my Dads house so we spent some time up there and played in the pool that was an awesome time.
Then in June, I got a job working at Shoe Carnival, it is lousy pay for long hours but it is a job none the less, we have been spending a lot of time going swimming on base and relaxing at home. We also spent a little time at my Dads house and learned how to tie lures. I never knew that it could be so  much fun. Towards the end of June we were both just super busy with work.
Now we are into July and staying super busy with paperwork and hoping that everything goes all right in the next weeks to come. We are staying beyond busy and are hoping to clean out the house and have a yard sale before the end of the month. The great thing is that my big brother whom I haven't seen in over 2 years will be coming into town and will get to meet Jared and Sophia for the first time! It is way exciting and I will be having a busy weekend cooking up a storm. I am beyond excited.
